Hello, I’m Anneke, a photographer born and raised in Fremantle, now living just outside of Perth with my partner.

Photography started for me when I was gifted a film camera as a teenager. The intentional and artistic nature of film and the way it renders colours drew me in and from there, photography turned into a passion. Documenting my friends and the small but meaningful moments in life has become second nature.

After a few years of working and travelling post-high school, a gentle nudge from my parents pushed me to study photography at TAFE. Two years later, with an Advanced Diploma and a clearer direction, things began to fall into place.

Through studying, I got the opportunity to start second shooting weddings and something just clicked. I realised how naturally I connected with the energy of a wedding day, and that this was the path that made sense for me.

Today, I feel incredibly lucky to call this my work. I love meeting people, being surrounded by genuine emotion, and capturing the moments that matter most. Weddings are full of story, beauty, and honesty, and it’s a privilege to document and preserve those memories for all the couples I get to work with xo
